Account information. Your email address, your name if you supply one, and the authentication identifiers created for you. Sign in is handled by Clerk.
Product information. Your DUPR rating, your skill quiz answers and score, the training plans generated for you, your post-session check-ins, your match logs, and your streaks, XP and badges. If you use Ask Your Coach, we store that conversation history so it is there when you come back.
Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly. We never see or store a full card number. We keep only a customer reference and your subscription status.
Technical information. IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting and measurement tools.
To build and adapt your training plan, to run your account and subscription, to answer support requests, to keep the service secure, to understand and improve how the product works, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We use your email to send service messages about your account. We only send marketing email if you have opted in, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you to deliver the core service, on our legitimate interest in securing and improving the product, on your consent for marketing email, and on legal obligation where a law requires us to keep records.
We share information with the service providers that make the product work: Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for database hosting, Anthropic for AI plan and coaching generation, Vercel for application hosting and delivery, and Google for advertising and analytics measurement.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers for their own independent use. We may disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Generating a plan, adjusting a plan and answering an Ask Your Coach question send your DUPR rating, quiz results, check-in history and recent logged sessions to the Anthropic API so a response can be produced. Content submitted through the API in this way is not used to train models.
The providers listed above process data in the United States and in other countries. Transfers are covered by the contractual safeguards in our agreements with each provider.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards where we need it for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Deleting your account removes your plans, check-ins, logged sessions and coach history.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or export it. You can withdraw consent for marketing at any time. You can also delete your account yourself from the account page.
To make a request, email hello@pickleplan.ai. If you are in Canada and you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.
We use strictly necessary cookies set by Clerk to keep you signed in and by Stripe to help prevent fraud. The service will not work without them.
We also use analytics and advertising measurement cookies, including the Google tag, to understand where visitors come from and whether our campaigns work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out.
The service is not directed at children under 13. If you are in the EEA or the UK you must be at least 16 to hold an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages, and we will delete it if we discover we have.
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
